Brampton shows 9-layer Streamlined Coextrusion Die Brampton Engineering is the world leader in multilayer blown
film extrusion. Brampton will be exhibiting a 9-layer SCD with 24-inch
(600mm) lips, for a maximum layflat of 110 inches (2800mm). At the
heart of every Brampton Engineering multilayer blown film line is
the Streamlined Coextrusion Die (SCD). The success of this die has
allowed BE customers to produce high quality film for a wide range
of applications. The new and improved SCD allows processors to harness
the characteristics of a wide range of resins to make structures
with the required properties. The die provides streamlined melt
distribution, temperature isolation between layers, increased efficiency
with fast flushing and changeovers, and low maintenance. Brampton
has over 200 systems installed in more than 30 countries around
the world.
