Brampton Engineering appoints Business Manager
(October 15, 2003, Brampton, Ontario, Canada) R.L. Bud Smith, President
and CEO, Brampton Engineering and Philip Kwok, Vice President, Brampton
Engineering announce the appointment of Sven Hafenberg, P. Eng., MBA
as Business Manager and member of the Management Team.
Smith says, "In this new role, Hafenberg will be responsible for various
sales and marketing activities that impact the growth and profitability
of Brampton Engineering. He will manage our product offering, pricing
strategy, market intelligence and new business development. In this
role he will report directly to me."
Kwok commented, "Sven will continue to be the Area Sales Manager for
Western Europe and will also support the sales group in an advisory
capacity."
Hafenberg is a Professional Engineer (Mechanical) and has an MBA from
Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is fluent in English,
Spanish and German. Sven started his career with BE in 1996 as an
Inside Sales Representative. He was promoted to Sales Representative
in 1997 and to Area Sales Manager in 1999.
