BE is a leader in the custom manufacture of sophisticated plastics extrusion machinery. We are a mid-sized company based in Brampton, with offices in the United States and China.

We require a Blown Film Extrusion Operator to join our Film Technology Centre (FTC) Team.

Your main responsibility will be to operate sophisticated, multi-layer blown film lines in our FTC. You will be actively involved in key customer trials, BE R&D trials and customer training. Other responsibilities include maintaining resin inventories, die and screw cleans, and running trials at customer facilities.

Qualifications:

- Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Technician Diploma, or Plastics Technology or Technician Diploma or similar educational background (post- secondary education is mandatory)

- Extrusion processing skills acquired through education and/or experience is beneficial

- Good mechanical skills; a hands-on person is a must

- Strong troubleshooting capabilities

- Great customer service skills and professional manner are required

- Verbal and written fluency in English is a must for this role
